The Minimum Inverse Semigroup Congruence on an OrthodoxSemigroup with Inverse Transversals

Huang Xue-jun · Journal of Sichuan Normal University · 2005

The minimum inverse semigroup congruence γ={(x,y)∈S×S:V(x)=V(y)} on an orthodox semigroup S can also be written as γ={(x,y)∈S×S:x~0=y~0} when S is an orthodox semigroup with inverse transversals, which is helpful to know that the inverse transversal S~0 is in fact the maximum inverse semigroup morphic image of S. And an orthodox semigroup with transversal may have more than one transversal,an example is given in this paper.
