3D reconstruction of rotated surface based on contour lines

According to the geometrical characteristics,a method which based on single image and adopt the contour lines to complete the reconstruction of the rotated curved surface is proposed.The method acquires the axis of rotated object,and combines the two brim curves and characteristic points of the rotated object to realize the 3D reconstruction of rotated surface.The experiment indicates that the method could conveniently reconstruct the 3D shape of the rotated object according to its 2D image.The method has extensive practical value in the areas such as the protection of cultural relics,archeology,technical meterage and so on.
