Applying Theory of Artificial Neural Network to Deformation Prediction of Ground Deformation During Tunnel Excavation

With the advantage of neural network in nonlinear problem,the author used an improved algorithm of B-P network to predict the ground deformation during the tunnel excavation in the second route of Shanghai Subway.Compared with other prediction methods,the theory of artificial neural network used to predict ground deformation is better than others.
