A criterion system of effectiveness for AWACS was built according to its function hierarchy.A multilevel fuzzy synthetic evaluation model of combat effectiveness evaluation for AWACS was built by combining fuzzy synthetic evaluation method because of its multiple criteria and uncertainty in the effectiveness evaluation.The accuracy and validity of this model was validated by an example.
