Iris Recognition Based On Wavelet Transform Algorithm

In this paper,iris recognition algorithm based on Haar wavelet transform is proposed.Haar wavelet transform is used to extract feature for mapped iris images.Then Hamming distance is used to match two iris features.The tests show that compared with Daugman's iris recognition algorithm,this method has improved the coded length and coded time.Moreover,the algorithm has a good robustness,so it can be used in a personal identification system.
