Discussed the time needed for a system that evolves among different orthogonal states.Not only the two energy level system but also the system with many energy levels were discussed.We found that the time needed between any two orthogonal states for the system with many energy levels was double that needed by the system with two energy levels.The results were important for optimal operation on a quantum system.
