Research and development of a dike information management and risk assessment system

A distributed dike management system was developed based on GIS and Web.The integrated system includes dike information inquiry system,dike reliability analysis system and floods risk analysis system.All the information of dikes and their protected area can be enquired easily by this system.Meanwhile,user can evaluate dike engineering reliabilities and flood risks according to historical floods or realtime flood level.Evaluation results can be inquired and displayed by two modes of C/S and B/S.
