EVALUATION AND DISCUSSION FOR THE ACTIVITY AND HARNESSING METHODS OF DEBRIS FLOW

Based on the principal facts of 50 debris flow valleys of Gansu Province, the basic equation for evaluating the activity of debris flow was set up. The reasonable hight of the dam for harnessing debris flow is very important. The methods for evaluating the bulk density of debris flow was given out after the hazards had been harnessed.
