Reflections on Reference Service in the New Era

The article probes into such issues as the institutional construction of reference service, the development of online reference service and the renewal of concepts of reference service.It argues that an integrated institution for reference service is the key to the development of online reference service and that the renewal of concepts of reference service and the development of social and individual reference services stand guarantee for further improvement of quality of reference service.
