Statistical Analysis and Evaluation on Compression Effect of Medical Digital CT Image

To explore effect of compression on digital CT images,2186 digital CT images were compressed with high compression ratio and low information lossless,based on the new arithmetic of wavelet analysis.The blind method judgment with naked eye conducted by the lung image experts showed that the results of clinic diagnose carried on before and after compressions were nearly the same and have no statistical significance.Arithmetic of wavelet analysis can be used for the lossless compression on digital CT image of lung patients.
