The analyse of network management model based on platform-centric paradigm

Network management standards used to follow a platform-centered manager-agent paradigm, which has been the foundation of developing management technology but is now being questioned. This paper provides a survey of the traditional network management technology and points out its limitations. Finally, a multiplatform management scenario is put forward.
