Study on lightningproof safety measures of town gas modification project in Beijing

The potential lightningproof safety hazard of town gas modification project was deeply analyzed in this paper. The preliminary study showed that thunder and lightning was harmful for the town gas supply pipeline. And at the same time,the corresponding solutions and measures were provided. It is helpful for lightning proof safety detection,design and construction of gas pipeline renewal and modification engineering project.
