Cross-layer energy model and energy consumption formulas for WSN

In this paper,a cross-layer energy model for wireless sensor network is proposed,which takes the interaction with network layer,physical layer,channel as well as the impact of components in data link layer into account.How the important factors in the model effect energy consumption is identified by NS2 network simulations.And then a math model to calculate energy consumption is presented.And the parameters of the model are attained by fitting the NS2 simulation results,so that the formulas of energy consumption are obtained.
