Research on Problems Existing in Classification Indexing of Software Books and Corresponding Countermeasures

Based on practical work of document classification,this article presents two problems commonly existing in classification indexing of software books-indefinite classification and improper classification,analyzes their causes,and raises to extend application of legend assembly as well as unify classification standards,adjust categories under the prerequisite of maintaining current classification,so as to lessen rough and excessive classification, reveal documents in a more objective and scientific way and ultimately facilitate readers.
