On the Standing of Simulation Technology in Developing Knowledge-Economy

Along with the development of computer technology and information technology, simulation technology is rapidly pushed forward and plays an important role in the developing Hi-Tech. Under the environment of knowledge-economy, this paper discusses the standing of simulation technology and its development direction, substance and associated characteristics. It forecasts the strategy to pursue the simulation technology industrialization as well to strive by every means to gain standing in the knowledge-economy environment. The author mainly emphasized various aspects of simulation technology, including the varieties and enrichments of its definition, the contents of its study, the analysis of its RD accomplishment, the pushing forward of soft science, the features and trend of its development, and the roles in knowledge-economy environment. Therein one may derive the conclusion: the simulation technology possesses the vast prospects.
