Being an important class of discrete event dynamic systems,Flexible Manufactur-ing Systems(FMS)arouse broad attention.This paper studies the dynamic behaviorof the FMS described by Cohen's model,with emphasis on the relation between theprocessing time matrix and the efficiency of the dynamic system.A large class ofsystems with same efficiency can be found using the method presented in this paper,which is of significance to system optimization.An example is given to further illus-trate our results.
