Study on the correlation functions of new binary sequences

Spreading sequences design is one of the key task in the direct-sequence spread spectrum communication systems. In this paper,based on a class of binary sequences with two-level autocorrelation functions, a new family of binary sequences is constructed and their correlation functions are calculated, it is shown that the new sequence family is optimal with respect to Welch′s bound, and can be used in direct-sequence CDMA communication systems.
