Research on Lightning Protection Technology for Transmission Line Corridor

The paper analyzes the lightning trip data form the 220kV and above voltage level line in Liaoning Province in recent years,discusses the effect of terrain and span on lightning protection with line arrester based on the theoretical analysis and mathematical statistic of the terrain and span,and finds out the weak link of the lightning trip,providing the base for the installation position of the line lightning arrester.
