Design of universal frequency divider based on FPGA

This paper presents an algorithm for designing a universal frequency divider which can realize different duty cycle either odd and even divider number.Experiments and hardware test on Altera PF10K10LC84-3 chip of FLEX10K series are given to show that the design is successful.Depending on the VHDL realization of this algorithm the design is of design flexibility and widely appli-cations.
