The implementation of G.729 on TMS320C6211

In 1995, coding of speech at 8kbit/s using CS[CD#1.7mm]ACELP was standardized as recommendation (G.729.) It is expected to be used for such multimedia applications as PHS(Personal Handy-phone System) service, desktop conference at bit rates below 64kbit/s, and multiplexers for effective use of transmission capacity. This paper introduces the algorithm structure of (G.729) and performs this recommendation on TMS320C6211DSP.
