Selection of check in maize varieties regional trial were based on approved and production well,and change accompanied by breeding level.Varieties popularization trend were coincide with check change time,which embodied the check model,should take active measures,such as selected better check at the appropriate time,in-creased the variety of selection pressure,and targeted to set the check,screened backup check cultivar.Concerned about the pilot plant density,variety or form of the check cultivar trials to explore the tested combination of average or a comprehensive consideration of several checks,so that more scientific check varieties,thus chosen from the variety reliability and adaptability would be stronger,more conducive to objectivity,impartiality and fairness.
