Time Synchronism in Real-time Traffic Data Collection System

Collecting traffic data is fundamental to developing the intelligent transportation system(ITS),and the accuracy of collected data is pivotal for its building and application.On the basis of comparing different time-synchronism strategies of ITS,the critical factors for selecting time-synchronism were analyzed.The time synchronism strategies for ITS were established.The application to an example of Shenzhen ITS system has gained good social and economic benefits.
