Transformation and Unification of Various Formats of Raw Multibeam Data

：In order to solve the problems encountered in the integrated processing, managing and mapping for different formats of raw data among multibeam systems, a kind of standard data structure is proposed in the PC Windows version of electronic mapping system for multibeam submarine topography (MBChart). Such a standard data structure has portability and extensibility. Its records are self-described and its fields are arranged in order of integer bytes as small as possible. The standard data structure makes it possible to synthetically process various formats of raw multibeam data efficiently in a unified way.
