The Analysis of Research Status and Hot Topics about International Food Safety Based on SCI Database

The research papers of food safety published in SCI- E database from the year 2004 to 2013 were collected.The methods of bibliometrics were used to analyzed the countries,institutions,core periodicals and funds of the papers.Furthermore,the co- keyword map was established to analyze the research hot spots of food safety by using social network analysis. The results showed that the research papers of food safety supported by funds occupy higher proportion in China.But the funds sources were comparatively simplex,compared to the European countries and the United States in which enterprises establish funds to subsidize the food safety research. In addition,the co- keyword network was good and the food, risk were central points of the food safety research.
