Because of the low velocity zone of S-wave is deep and inhomogeneous and its relative low velocity, the static correction value of P-SV wave is large and acute in transverse direction. And the present static correction methods are not very perfect to resolve P-SV wave static correction problems. In the paper,a simple and feasible static correction method is presented.Firstly, the same horizon event is corrected to estimate some value on P-P wave and P-SV wave sections. Then, the P-P wave structure time is converted to P-SV wave structure time by the value on P-P and P-SV wave common receiver point stack sections, and the P-SV structure time is applied on P-SV wave section. Finally, after removed most static,a cross-correction method is applied to remove small time difference on P-SV wave horizon.A real data processing indicates that the static correction method can resolve P-SV wave static correction problem, and the seismic record quality be improved clearly. The method has been applied to process 3D-3C data in XC area in the east of Sichuan successfully.
