Liu Yan-hon · Journal of Nanjing Institute of Industry Technology · 2014
SDN is a new type of network structure, which transforms the traditional hardware network control model into programmable network control model, simplifying network design and operation. This article studies the structure and deployment model of SDN,analyzes the separation of control plane and data retransmission plane, and complete the network control through software. Based on SDN,it also lists the market application and the future challenges about.
