Line Feature Extraction from Nature Images Based on Wavelet and Beamlet

This paper proposes a method for line feature extraction based on wavelet transform and beamlet transform.First,the wavelet transform is used to highlight the line feature of the image.Then,the beamlet transform is applied to extract the line feature from images.The experiments show that the proposed algorithm can achieve satisfactory performance.
