The Network Accounting System with Packet Capturing Technique

There are several kinds of network accounting techniques.This paper discusses the way of packet capture network accounting,and analyzes the characteristics of this technique.In the practice,the LIBPCAP functions are used to capture data packets.According to the data encapsulate protocol of data transferring,data are decoded and processed.After the accounting data are drawn out,they are classified and accounted.Afterwards,the accounting information is used to modify the access control list of routing device dynamically to realize the AAA works.
