PSHA based on the seismogenic structure source zones in seismogenic belts

In order to assess the seismic safety of engineering sites in China,the Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Analysis is widely used,that considers the seismicity as heterogeneity in spatial-temporal domains(abbreviated to CPSHA).In CPSHA b-value and v4-value of seismicity parameters describing the seismic activity of seismogenic potential source zones are calculated according to the statistical regions of the seismogenic structure belts.The new seismic ground motion parameter zoning map of China,the fifth generation map,comes up with the principle of three levels dividing for seismogenic potential structure source zones.The parameters b-value and v4-value are calculated according to the seismogenic potential structure source zones in seismogenic belts.Our result shows that seismic parameters calculation according to the seismogenic potential structure source zones may be more reasonable.
