The Design and Implementation of a Proxy-based Multisource Application Level Multicast System

ALM (Application Level Multicast) is an active research area in group communication technology,in this paper,a Proxy-based Multisource Application Level Multicast System which is called PMALMS is designed and implemented for the requirement of multimedia information Communications for the Digitized Battlefield in the future.It adopts a proxy-based service model and the network technologies of P2P,at the same time PMALMS adopts a optimized shared multicast tree construction algorithm and a optimized date distribute algorithm,so the performance and efficiency of the Multisource Application Layer Multicast is improved greatly.
