Research on QoS-based resource scheduling in manufacturing grid

In order to resolve the resource scheduling problem in Manufacturing Grid (MG), Manufacturing Grid Resource Scheduler (MGRS) based Quality of Service (QoS) was proposed. The entire scheduling process could be classified asQoS -based resource search, QoS-based resource scheduling and dynamic negotiation. Detailed studies on resources scheduling process were conducted. Based on the detailed definitions of manufacturing task/sub-task and resource, a ResourceTask Matching (RTM) matrix was set up to show the scheduling objectives. At the same time, the concept of Group decision-making Fuzzy Analytic hierarchy process Model (GFAM) was put forward with resources' QoS attributes as evaluation rules and Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) Group Decision-Making (GDM) as algorithms. Furthermore, the application of GFAM was tested in an application case to illustrate its feasibility and practicability.
