AN APPROACH TO THE QUANTITATIVE FAULT DESCRIPTION

This paper presents a method for the quantitative fault description by scanning image. Through the coordinate conversion, it can achieve quantitative fault describing accurately and quickly. The quantitative information for the automatic plot by computer and the reservoir prediction over faults could be provided. The method is of the features of convenience and flexibility and has a widespread scope of applications.
