On Wu Zhen's Historical Textual Research

The most striking characteristic of Wu Zhen's historical textual research is that he summarizes hisachievements with a set of historical theory, thus completing the preliminary inquiry of historical textual re-search. In his works, he mainly applies the method of proof in itself, but this is also a weakness for he relieson the method too much.
