Research on query method of geographic information based on ontology

Traditional method on GIS query and information searching is difficult to satisfy user's need,so it's necessary to develo Pnew ways of geographic information query and searching. Geography ontology is introduced to the application of information query in this paper,and discussed about query optimization,query extend,visualization and result knowledgement,which enriches and develops the traditional query and searching methods. On this foundation,the model frame of the information query based on ontology is designed,and the two key techniques,natural language processing and ontology reasoning,are studied in detail.
