The Simulation and Capability Study of Convolutional Code Encoding and Decoding

A software scheme of (2,1,7) convolutional coding and Viterbi decoding technology is presented,which implements Viterbi decoder function of (2,1,7) convolutional code in the Matlab.According to the test,the BER(Bit Error Rate)of Viterbi algorithm can still reach 10-6 in the low SNR( Signal-to-Noise Ratio).
