Design of M Interpolation Filter for Image Size Conversion

Image size conversion is an important subject in the applications of the multirate signal processing systems.In this paper,we present an efficient way to implement image size conversion by sample rate conversion,and give the algorithm to design linearphase finiteimpulse response (FIR) antialiasing filter and linearphase FIR interpolation filter.Several design examples are included demonstrating the better frequency properties of the proposed filter and the superb image quality of the scaled images using the proposed method.
