Standardization of abstracts in scientific papers

In consideration of some problems existing in abstract research at present, from the viewpoints of papers' authors, the aim of this paper is to discuss how to write a highquality abstract. First, an introduction is given to the classification of abstracts of scientific papers based on the characteristics of papers (including the types of report, summary, verification, discovery, and calculation), and their patterns for writing and contents are also discussed with corresponding examples are given. Then the requirements for standardized writing of abstracts are expounded.
