SURVEY OF THE RESEARCH OF PERSONALIZED INFORMATION AGENT TECHNOLOGY

As the rapid development of internet,the traditional information service systems such as Yahoo can't understand precisely what the users really want,and ignore the users' personalized demands,therefore,they can't provide long term active information services.Personalized information agent technology can help to understand user's long term information requirement in an intelligent way and can provide users with accurate,reliable and efficient information services.The paper presents the research survey and the problems of the personalized information agent technology,and points out the research orientations in the future.
