Study on the Temperature Raise of the pulp in Refining

The relationship between temperature raise of the pulp, specific energy and motor load in pulp refining was analyzed, the contribution of temperature raise to prediction of refining quality in soft measurement system was investigated. The results indicated that temperature raise of the pulp is proportional to the specific energy when the consistency of the pulp is constant. However compared with the specific energy, the parameter of temperature raise can not significantly improve the prediction of refining quality, on the contrary, it will introduce noise if the temperature sensors were not accurate.
