Technique of dynamic descriptions to the crack and cave carbonate rock reservoir in the Tahe oil field,Xinjiang,China

It is very difficult to describe the characterizations of the typical crack and cave carbonat rock reservoir only using the static information,as it has very strong heterogeneous characteristics.Herein a new thought that this type of reservoir can be studied by the production data is suggested.Combined with the seepage theory and welltest results, the artificial neural networks method(ANN) can be applied to deduce the relation between the formation flow capacity and production information. This method has dominant prestige in dealing with the non-linear problem.By means of researching the practical examples of the Tahe reservoir in Tarim basin, the artificial neural networks model for reservoir description is set up.The result shows that it has very important value to evaluate the crack and cave type carbonate rock reservoir and analyze its heterogeneity.
