A Header Compression Scheme for IPv6 Stack in Wireless Sensor Networks

This paper describes a header compression scheme for the IPv6 stack in wireless sensor networks,including the compression of IPv6 header,extension headers and UDP header.This scheme,which is easy to implement,can reduce the time for packet transmission in WSN greatly,thus it can reduce energy cost and prolong the lifetime of the nodes.
