Research on Temperature Measurement by Platinum Resistance Transducer

Platinum resistor is a thermistor that makes use of relationship between resistance and temperature. As platinum resistor characteristic cure is nonlinear, the standard relationship between resistance and temperature is given by scaling table, as well as the scaling function R(t). But function T(r) is more convenient in the practice. In this paper, the function T(r) was got by a fitting method with the cubic cardinal spline, and the results show that the method reaches high-speed temperature measurement and smaller errors.
