Binarization for Document Image Captured by Digital Camera

A binarization method for digital camerabased document image was proposed.The method is a combination of the global thresholding,local thresholding and the gray gradient method.The global thresholding and local thresholding are combined to reserve character strokes finely.Outlines of the character strokes are enhanced by the gray gradient method.The efficiency is shown by experimental results.
