The Development Trend of the Natural Language Processing

Based on needs for the development of intelligent internet and Artificial Intelligence at the background of cognitive science,this paper examines current main problems in Natural Language Processing(NLP)through analyzing the development of NLP,one of core technologies of cognitive science.This paper suggests that the change of thought offrom the whole to the partwill be the key of whether breakthrough can be obtained in NLP of next phase.Dynamic semantic analysis needs the introduction of pragmatic techniques,therefore,after the stages of syntactics and semantics,NLP’s transformation to pragmatic stage is an inevitable trend.
