Research and Application of GIOP CDR Characteristics

The paper begins with a mathematical description of CDR alignment before a discussion about a CDR problem of TypeCode in some free Java ORBs, then focuses on the proof of two important characteristics about alignment in CDR stream data copying. The results can be applied to CDR implementation and improve its performance, which is verified by performance test on several possible implementations of CDR. '
