The Comparative Study on Patent Application of the Universities in the Economic Zone on West Side of Taiwan Straits——Taking Fuzhou University and Xiamen University as the Examples

At the present stage, the supporting function of the university on innovation system of the economic zone on Western Coast of the Taiwan Straits is not obvious, and it is difficult to meet the needs of constructing the innovation system of the economic zone on Western Coast of the Taiwan Straits. Therefore, this paper selects Fuzhou University and Xiamen University as the samples to make the comparative study on the patent application of the two universities, reveals the present situation of and problems existing in the patent application of the universities in the economic zone on Western Coast of the Taiwan Straits, and puts forward a long-effect mechanism for helping the universities in the economic zone on Western Coast of the Taiwan Straits to increase the quantity and improve the quality of the patent application of the universities in the economic zone on Western Coast of the Taiwan Straits.
