Optocoupler Charcteristics Check with an Analog Multimeter

This paper mainly introduces how to check up single directional conductiuity,the value of the positive voltage fall U F of the emitter,the positive and reverse register of the collector and emitter in the collector and the strike current ICEO in commonly used parameter of the optocouple through multimeter.It also can check up if the light electric translation of the optocouple is natural. The basic way of the check up of the current transmitssion ratio is using two multimeters, measuring current ratio coefficient of the optocouple at first, then reading out positive deflection grid of the multimeterⅠand multimeterⅡ,so as to figure out the CTR value of the device.
