Objective:To study the analytic means for ordinal categorical response in epidemiology.Methods:Four kinds of regression model,including cumulative odds model、unconstrained partial-proportional odds model、continuation-ratiomodel and adjacent-category logistic model were introduced about there structure、feature、suitable condition and outcome.Moreover an example was illustrated.Results:The four kinds of model should be applied to different condition and may get different outcome.Conclusion:Selecting the proper model in research based on the propose and the actual data.
