Theoretical Use of Cache Memory in Side-Channel Attack and Simulation on PC

This paper propose a new kind of Side Channel Cryptoanalysis, by taking the advantage of the behavior, Cache hit and Cache miss, while looking up arrays. Based on the structure of and a model, it describes the principle of cryptoanalysis with Cache, and gives an attacking example against DES using Cache. It also discuss several way to defend against such cryptoanalysis.
