The Research of Mersenne Primes Based on Grid

Mersenne prime is a special kind of prime.The study of Mersenne prime effectivily has been a hot and difficult point in mathematical research.But owing to its irregular,the computing of it has exponentical complexity,there are only 46 Mersenne primes have been found during 2300 years.With the development of internet and distributed compuing,the GIMPS of reseaching Mersenne primes which based on grid has brought in breakthroughts,and it has become a new hot topic in scientific exploration.The article discusses the relevant theories and algorithm of Mersenne primes,and grid in GIMPS.
